March 25, 2010—Hudson, WI—Gerrard Corporation has broken ground on new twinhomes, named Heritage Cottages Twinhomes, in Hudson, WI. Designed for active adults fifty-five and better, the Heritage Cottages Twinhomes are located within the subdivision known as Heritage Greens. The first three twinhomes will be available for lease July 1st, with additional homes being made available for lease in August and September.

Heritage Cottages Twinhomes will include one- and two-bedroom apartments in single-level twinhome buildings with a garden/cottage design. Grounds include 94 acres of beautifully landscaped lawns, ponds, pavilions, and a water feature. Additionally, the homes include high efficiency gas forced air furnaces and many amenities, including an attached garage with automatic opener, sound-proofing, kitchen appliances and Amish cabinets, a walk-in laundry room with washer and dryer, pantry and storage space, walk-in closets in bedrooms, and cable, telephone, and Internet access in each room. Each unit also features a walk-in shower with optional tub, and is handicapped accessible or adaptable.

The twinhomes also include access to a large community center for private functions. The community center features a fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, billiards, sports court/fitness area, beauty/barber facility, office and business center for residents, a door-to-door transportation program to key locations in the Hudson area, as well as an on-site rental management office and on-call maintenance person.
