Gerrard Corporation has broken ground for a new apartment building, located near UW-Stevens Point on Maria Drive. Dubbed “University Point,” the building will be ready for occupancy August 1, 2009. Gerrard Corporation has awarded the project to local general contractor, Ellis Stone Construction (Stevens Point), in an effort to better partner with the community by creating local jobs and further enhancing the local economy.
